According to EBOT statistics, mainland boxoffice gross in the 16th week (Apr. 20-26, 2015) paced down at $136 million, declining 38% w-o-w, yet up 115% y-o-y. Admissions in this week reached 23 million, down 35% than the 15th week.

Braking gently, “Fast & Furious 7” earned $72.7 million in its third week in mainland China’s market, which accumulated to $324.31 million in 15 days’ screening. In the second place, “The Left Ear”, directed by Alec Su, took 23.2% of the market as a modest income of $31.49 million in first three days. The domestic romance’s debut slightly pulled back "Furious 7” a bit and attracted 5.8 million moviegoers, a half to its mere competitor’s number. Also a romance, “Ever Since We Love,” stepped back to the third place in its second week and added $10.2 million, for a total of $21.9 million.

For the first week on China’s screen, DreamWorks Animation’s “Home” took No. 4 and $8.2 million. Behind the new release, home-grown “Wolf Warriors” put in another $4.02 million to impressive $84million total gross. The six place went to another new foreigner--“Sabotage”,  with $2.5 million debut record.

In its advance screening, “Silent Separation” had won seventh place and first $2.11 million already.  “Mordecai” spent its second week with only contributed $1.42 million revenue to $3.53 million in total for 10 days. The No.9 was “Kingsman: The Secret Service” with $0.67 million, and No. 10 for “The Queens,” weekly grossing over half a million.
