China's television regulator has ordered a crackdown on dramas about the country's battles with Japan during and before World War Two and demanded they be more serious, following viewer complaints about ludicrous storylines.

According to financial reports from milk producer Yili, which also had product placements in Transformers 3 and Iron Man 3 , their total marketing fees in 2011 and 2012 reached 3.6 billion yuan and 3.7 billion yuan respectively.

A comprehensive media center will be built by the Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions by 2015, facilitating the work and life of the increasing number of foreign journalists in China.

Finding Mr. Right topped the box office in China for four successive weeks. "Somehow it really took off and it took everybody by surprise,” says co-producer Shan Tam. “We’ve got lots of bragging rights, that’s for sure.”
