According to EBOT statistics, mainland boxoffice gross in the 15th week (Apr. 13-19, 2015) stood high at $217 million, boosting 42% w-o-w, also 272% up y-o-y. Admissions in this week notched up 35.4 million, up 34% than the 14th week.

James Wan’s “Furious 7” stayed still on topspot in its first whole week run in China, which fiercely took 86% of the market share as gaining $186.6 million weekly gross. The film had 548500 showings and 29.8 million in last week, surprisingly earning $250 million total revenue from mainland China’s market. Opening on last Friday, “Ever Since We Love” cumed $11.6million, only 5.4% share, on 2 million admissions. “Wolf Warriors” added $8.7 million to $79 million total in its third week onto the silver screens. In the fourth place was "Mortdecai”, put in $2.1 million in three-day’s debut. Following closely was “The Queens”, also a new film, earning $1.88 million for five days.

Being squeezed by blockbusters and newcomers, the No. 3 in 14th week, ”Let’s Get Married” only collected $1.7million for barely 1% of the market share. Similarly, the previous hit British comedy, “Kingsman” grossed around $1.7 million to $45million cumulative gross. The No. 8 and No.9 ranking were both animations—“The House of Magic” ($840,000) and "Legend of Rabbit” ($370,000) with “Time Is Money”, a Taiwanese comedy, rounding out top 10 in the 15th week.
