Benny Chan's latest action thriller made quite a storm in its opening three days. The White Storm earned $12.6 million for a market share of 34.7%, which is good enough to edge out Alfonso Cuarón's sci-fi epic Gravity. The three-day box office gross ended up with $36.4 million, off 12% from the previous weekend.
