Thor: The Dark World Led for third straight week with a $12.32 tally that brings its Chinese cume up to $45.45 million. Red 2 sat in third place with $5.73 million. Overall, the weekend gross was $29.39 million, off 19 percent from the previous weekend. Hollywood titles reigned over the charts through the past three days.

Although the market seems quite underperforming this weekend, there is massive potential for the coming week, while Gravity and The Hunger Games:Catching Fire were set to open on November 19 and 21 in Mainland China. Aiming at the audiences in second and third-tier cities, Mainland-Hong Kong-Taiwan co-production Control will start its theatrical run on November 22.
