The company behind the newly-released 3D shark attack blockbuster "Bait" is planning a sequel, qq.com reports.
Released on October 12, the film earned 50 million yuan on its first weekend screening.
The company stated that it would cooperate with James Cameron's team again and that they intend to invite Cameron as a producer.
The staff from the Chinese investment company revealed that the script is in the works and that more horror content would be in this installment.
In the first film, scenes played by Chinese kung fu stars Sik Siu Lung and Qi Yuwu were cut for untold reasons. However, director Kimble Rendall promised more Chinese actors.
