Nanjing Broadcasting Group and Central New Film Group are preparing a large-scale documentary film and TV series called Centennial Nanjing, which is expected to finish shooting and be broadcast by 2014.
The project will include a 90-minute high-definition documentary, and five episodes of high-definition TV documentaries of 45 minutes each.
The project will present Nanjing - the capital of six dynasties - under the themes of city planning, education, science, traditional protection and people's livelihoods.
