The cast and crew of the steampunk film "Tai Chi 0" attended the Asian premier yesterday in Beijing , Mtime.com reports.
Director Stephen Fung, screenwriters Cheng Hsiao-tse and Zhang Jialu, action director Sammo Hung and art director Tim Yip, alongside actors Yuan Xiaochao, Tony Leung and Eddie Peng were at the event.
The new face Yuan Xiaochao, showed his face at the promotional event for the first time.
Total investment in the film amounts to 220 million yuan.
"We made lots of kungfu movies before, and we will make more in the future. Whether the box office result is good or not, 'Taichi 0' is a completely different film, which changes everything," said producer Chen Kuo-fu.
"Taichi 0" will hit mainland cinemas on September 27 in IMAX 3D format. And its sequel "Taichi 2" will meet audiences on October 25, also in IMAX 3D format.
