7th Paris Chinese Film Festival Opens

French actress Carole Bouquet will attend the opening ceremony of the Seventh Chinese Film Festival and serve as its honorable president when the event begins in Paris on September 19, Mtime.com reports.
There are several key sections of the festival, including a China Night section which will screen the three wuxia dramas "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "Reign of Assassins" and "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate 3D."
Three of famous Chinese director's Zhang Yimou's latest films—"The Flowers of War," "Love Under the Hawthorn Tree" and "The City of Golden Armor"—will be presented during Zhang Yimou Night.
To pay tribute to young and old filmmakers alike, the classic works of Chinese directors Wang Xiaoshuai and Sun Yu will be shown, including Wang's "11 Flowers" and "Shanghai Dreams" and Sun's "Wild Rose" and "The Little Toys."
The Seventh Chinese Film Festival in Paris will run from September 19 to October 4.
The film "The Flowers of War" will open the festival, while "A Simple Life" will close it.
