The Third New York Chinese Film Festival will open on October 17 with a star studded guest list, Yule.sohu.com reports.
Actresses Zhang Ziyi, Sandra Ng and actor Aaron Kwok are among those who will attend the event along with other Chinese stars.
This year's festival will run until October 20. Eleven Chinese films will be screened during the event including the "The Assassins" starring Chow Yun-fat; Zhang Ziyi and Aaron Kwok's romance "Love for Life," "Sophie's Revenge" and "After This Our Exile."
The New York Chinese Film Festival was founded in 2010 to promote cultural exchanges between China and US and to improve the development of the Chinese film industry. Last year's opening ceremony attracted 3,000 attendees.
