In the 2012 Autumn Capital TV Program Promotion Conference inaugurated today, 330 TV production and broadcasting organizations exchange more than 430 series, 15000 episodes of TV plays.
Pang Wei, a deputy director of Beijing Administration of Radio, Film and TV, said, among the 430 TV plays on display, there are 340 new series, covering the main TV themes including ancient, modern, contemporary, realistic, love life, military, and martial arts.
Sponsored by the Beijing Administration of Radio, Film and Television and Huairou District government, the promotion conference has been held 10 sessions since 2007. It is held in spring and autumn every year, and introduces TV programs in a total length of 6000-8000 hours each session, which accounts for more than 70% of the country's total output in the same time. Through 5 years of development, the Capital TV Program Promotion Conference has become a most vibrant TV program exchange and cooperation platform in China.
