"A Simple Life" Big Winner at Paris Film Festival.
The awards ceremony of the 10th Paris Cinema International Film Festival 2012 (Paris Cinema IFF) took place at the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris, on Tuesday, sina.com reports.
The award-winning Hong Kong drama "A Simple Life" was the biggest winner after picking up two awards including Best Movie Selected by Students and Most Popular Movie.
Director Ann Hui, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 6th Asian Film Awards for the movie, was absent from the event due to her work schedule.
The movie has failed to attract French distributors as yet, but the production company expects that the two awards can help them find new distributors soon.
