Japan Film Week 2012 Opens in Beijing
The opening ceremony of this year's Japan Film Week in China was held in Beijing on June 14th, Chinesefilms.cn reports.
Several Chinese and Japanese film industry figures, including Tong Gang, of the Movie Bureau at the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, Hidehisa Horinouchi, Minister of the Japanese Embassy in China, Japanese actress Komaki Kurihara and Chinese director Huo Jianqi attended the event.
Twelve films will be screened during the six-day event, which runs until June 19 in Beijing and from June 16 to 22 in Shanghai.
The films "Tokyo Kouen," "In This Chart," "Life Back Then" and "Ninja Kids!!!" will be shown in both cities.
"Always-Sunset on Third Street-3" was the first film to be shown following last week's opening ceremony in Beijing.
