Beijing Bona International Cineplex Investment and Management Co., part of Bona Film Group, is to add three new IMAX theaters.
The new screens will be in Wuhan, Beijing and Taiyuan, and expand the group’s commitment to four.
"As we expand our theatre footprint, IMAX is a key differentiator that will help us capitalize on the growth opportunities that exist in this highly competitive market,” said Yu Dong Bona’s founder and CEO.
The vertically-integrated group, which will announce half year results later this week, currently has 22 multiplexes in China.
