USA Film Pitched ¥700,000 for Marketing in China
The upcoming Hollywood production, "Jane Got a Gun", won a Special Prize for ¥700,000 worth of marketing service from Entgroup Promotion last week. The EntGroup Film Finance Forum invited 10 projects to Roadshow during the 5th Annual China Culture and Entertainment Industry Summit.
The 10 film projects differed in genre and financing scale from in and out of China pitched on the same stage. "Jane Got a Gun", a gangster action film centering on heroine’s dilemma in saving her new family, was awarded the Top Project with a ¥700,000 voucher of marketing service from Entgroup Promotion.
Big budget films "Jane Got a Gun", "Gungrave", "Full Throttle" and "The Silent Flute" of Kirin Media’s promotion were definitely eyeball-catching while thrillers “Tongling (Spirit Medium)” "Yuyingshi (The Unborn’s Room)" and "Hide and Seek" also caused attentions from the financiers .
A co-production of a Chinese, British and American team named "A Thousand Lives" also pitched the program in a 10-minute section.
After the Roadshow, Guangdong Broadcasting and TV Network Co. signed a cooperation letter of intent with Monster Pictures’ campus eroto-comedy "Wan Quan Nan Sheng Shou Ce (Perfect Boy Manual)".
