China's main US TV drama broadcasting platform, Sohu TV held a party for the winners of the Emmys awards, which was also broadcast on the site, on Tuesday.
The biggest winner Breaking Bad, which grabbed five big awards including outstanding drama series and outstanding actor in a drama series, was officially introduced to China through Sohu TV.
Other winners like Fargo and Modern Family are also available on the video site.
Charles Zhang, CEO of Sohu TV and also a big Breaking Bad fan, critics including Li Xingwen and representatives of the US shows shown on Sohu TV attended the party.
At the event Li stated that US TV has entered a new golden age.
"Hollywood movies used to carry the responsibility of telling good stories, but now have been replaced by US TV dramas," he said.
Huang Dai from Sony Pictures said, "We met with many buyers, and Sohu TV was the most professional one."
