As the Cannes film festival continued Sunday, stars from the cast of The Expendables 3, including Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, rode down the Croisette on tanks in a promotional stunt.
Also on Sunday, Tommy Lee Jones defended the portrayal of Native Americans in his competition entry The Homesman and David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars screened for critics.
Meanwhile, after plenty of hype about the largest delegation ever from mainland China, a lack of Asian titles in the lineup and little dealmaking have dampened enthusiasm.
The Cannes Film Festival runs May 14-25.
