Zodiak Targets China with Ciwen

Zodiak Kids has granted Beijing-based Ciwen Media Group distribution rights to more than 390 episodes of its animated programming, including Totally Spies and The Ranch.
 
Ciwen now act on behalf of Zodiak Kids to broker deals with free TV, cable and satellite broadcasters, as well as home entertainment and VoD platforms throughout China and Macau and VoD services in Hong Kong.
 
The company previously secured a deal with the Chinese state broadcaster for Franklin and Friends (52×30′), following a representation agreement with Corus Entertainment-owned Nelvana.
 
Other titles Ciwen will now attempt to get on air in China include Rekkit Rabbit (104×13′), Extreme Football (39×26′), The Basketeers (52×26′) and Little Princess (100×11′).
