St. Petersburg is hosting the 2013 Chinese Film Festival. Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang and Russian deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin have attended the opening ceremony.
Wang Yang says this event could help the people from the two countries know each other better and enhance the China-Russia friendship. He hopes the two countries can cooperate to produce more good films.
Wang also meets members from the Chinese delegation, including director Chen Kexin and actor Jacky Chan. Ten Chinese films will be shown at the festival.
