CJ4DPLEX (CEO Choi Byeong Hwan), a subsidiary of CJ CGV (CEO Seo Jung), will launch 4DX movie theater in Taipei the capital of Taiwan on Wednesday June 12th. It was signed a partnership with Vieshow Cinema which is the No. 1 theater in Taiwan and located in the center of Taipei. 140 4DX motion seats are installed in theater "Hsinyi site" inside the shopping mall directly operating by Vieshow.
This entry in Taiwan is significant in terms of approaching in Asian market in earnest followed by China, Thailand and Japan. The influence of Asian culture is increased consistently in the world of film market, 4DX will accelerate to expand Asian film industry through the entering in Taiwan.
Vieshow Cinema is No. 1 leading cinema group in Taiwan with 109 screens in 11 sites. Prior to the formal opening, 4DX pre-sale tickets sold over 4,000 in an hour that showed high expectations of audience towards 4DX.
The first line up to Taiwan audience is action movie based on Superman story made by director Zack Snyder who had made <300>before.
