Macao Hosted the China Music Awards
Yesterday night, the Venetian Macao hosted the China Music Awards for the second year in a row. The prestigious awards were held in The Venetian Theatre.
Many fans lined the red carpet at The Venetian Macao’s main lobby, trying to catch a glimpse of the multitude of celebrities in attendance, including international superstar Adam Lambert, K-pop group KARA and the Voice of China mentors Na Ying, Yang Kun, Eason Chan, Joey Yung, Charlene Choi, Rainie Yang and Show Luo.
According to a Venetian Macao press release, about 200 journalists attended the event, which was “broadcast and webcast live to an estimated global audience of two billion viewers.” Jointly organised by Star China Media, CCTV and Shandong TV, the China Music Awards evening saw over 50 celebrities, almost 40 on-stage performances, as well as over 100 dancers. “A technologically-advanced stage design gave the glamorous night a punch usually associated with rock concerts, all making for an unforgettable evening of world-class entertainment,” stated the press release.
