The Chinese film "Back to 1942” had its premiere during the 7th Rome Film Festival at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica on November 11, 2012 in Rome, Italy. "Back to 1942" was directed by Feng Xiaogang and stars Xu Fan, Zhang Guoli and Adrien Brody. This film is running in competition for the Golden Marc’Aurelio Award for Best Film.

"Back to 1942" is a film depicting a deadly drought in 1942 takes its toll on central China's Henan province during the war against Japan.
