Singer-songwriter Liu Huan will celebrate his 30-year career through a concert titled Listening to Our Days, on Jan 1, 2013.
Although Liu has only released three albums and two concerts, he is regarded as an iconic figure in China's music industry for his wide vocal range and songwriting talent.
The 49-year-old musician started his career singing and writing songs for popular TV series, which won him instant fame, before performing at national galas such as singing You and Me at Beijing's Olympic Opening Ceremony with English actress and singer Sarah Brightman.
Though he kept a low profile, he returned to the spotlight after writing all the soundtracks for popular TV series Legend of Zhen Huan and being one of the four judges and coaches of The Voice of China, a popular TV singing competition show.
